Diane M. LaValley, 75, of Wolcott, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, October 19, 2023. She was born in Medina, NY, daughter of the late Alvin R. Neal, and the late Dorothy E. Dunn Neal. She loved her family and her faith. She was 1968 Miss Finger Lakes, performed as an actress at Geva Theatre in Rochester, and was an honorary judge at the Miss Finger Lakes Pageant later in life. She taught children German for many years and helped at her daughter's dance studio and was a full-time teacher, secretary and publicity Marketer for the non for profit ministry she started with her husband, Pointes Of Faith Dancers Inc. She also directed Musicals and plays for community players and her beloved Steps Of Faith dance Studio.

She is predeceased by her husband, Richard LaValley (2019).

Survived by her daughter, Rachel (Douglas) Williams of Wolcott, and three grandchildren, Becky Williams, Zachary Platt, and Elizabeth Platt, and great grandchild, Jade Ann Rickman.
