David L. Pettit, 52, of Sterling, NY,passed away October 03, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family. David was born in Sodus, September of 1966, son of LeRoy Pettit, and of the late Sandra Mosier Durham. David graduated with a law degree from Syracuse University, then working as a workers compensation attorney.
He is predeceased by his mother, Sandra Mosier Pettit, and a sister, Christy Switzer.
Survived by his Father, LeRoy Pettit, of Wolcott, sister, Tammy Pettit McDonald of Inwood West Virginia, nieces,  Karina McDonald, Kiersten Pople, Hailey Pulsiffer, and nephews, Morgan McDonald,Devin Hendrix, and, Riker McDonald, as well as many friends , and neighbors, and his beloved cat George.
