David Holdridge, 82, a lifelong resident of Fair Haven, passed away on Monday, December 22, 2025.

He was born September 28, 1943, son of the late Donald Holdridge and Muriel Meade Holdridge. David was a proud Navy veteran and attended Hamilton College, where he earned a bachelor's degree in economics.

David had a deep love for his community and the water, enjoying many years of sailing on Fair Haven Bay. He owned and operated Holdridge Realty, helping countless clients buy and sell homes, and was a multiple term past president of the Fair Haven Chamber of Commerce. He also served his community as a County Legislator.

Later in his career, David combined his love of travel with meaningful work in disaster relief through Adjusters International. Before retiring, he owned and operated the local gift shop in Fair Haven.

In addition to his parents, David was predeceased by his brother, Richard (Carol) Holdridge, and his best friend, Jeff Baker.

He is survived by his nephews, Mark (Tracy) Holdridge and Brent (Kim) Holdridge, as well as many cousins.
