Daniel J. Kazmierczak, 72, of Cato, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, November 03, 2018. Born in Buffalo, the son of the late William and Bertha Kazmierczak .  Dan was a Veteran having retired after 29 years. He also worked for the Cicero Police Department.  He was an avid animal lover rescuing many strays that ended up as pets and enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Susan Gaines Kazmierczak, a son, Steven (Angela).  Brothers: Ronald, Michael (Laura),  David (Barb), and William Jr (Kathy).  Brother-in-law Robert (Amy) Gaines.  Grandsons: Logan, Colin, and Teagan and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are Thursday, November 08, from 12:00-2:00PM at the Keysor-Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home with a service immediately following.  Burial will be at Meridian Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Finger Lakes SPCA, 41 York Street, Auburn, NY 13021. www.catoredcreek.com
