Curtis K Hampton, "K" 83, entered into eternal peace on April 13, 2026. K was born on November 12, 1942, on Farnham Rd in Ira, NY and "So God Made a Farmer"! A poem by Paul Harvey, that describes our father best. He poured his heart and soul into his work as the owner of Wright Hampton & Son. His legacy isn't something you read about in books; it's etched in the calluses on his hands, the endless hours he dedicated to the land, and the genuine care he put into every seed planted and every cow milked. He lived a life overflowing with purpose, unwavering determination, and incredible strength.  The family working together side by side gave him a profound pride in all of his children.  Hobbies included work, work and more work. He did enjoy traveling to races, tractor pulls and treating everyone to a fine dinner.

He was the only son to the late Wright K. Hampton, and the late Rose Edith Carr Hampton. He is predeceased by his wife, Kathy D. Wentworth Hampton, Son, Wright K Hampton (Kemper), grandson, Jericho Bond, Great-grandsons, Raiden Alexander Burke. Sisters and their spouses, Betty (Wilson)VanNorstrand, Emma (John) Bond.

Survived by his children, Roger Hampton of Syracuse, Bart (Marsha) Hampton of Conquest, DeBrenda (William) Bracy of Red Creek, and Cammie (Jamey) Bond of Weedsport. Sisters, Trixie (Harold) Switzer of Florida, Judy (Don) Purdy of Baldwinsville, Grandchildren, Megan, Dustin, Peyton, Logan, Kayliegh, Kodie, Brianna, and Gabrielle, Great-grandchildren, Tucker, Maddy, Julien, Dallas, Denver, Xavier, and Zayden, as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will take place at the Ira Fire Department, Saturday, May 02, 2026, from 2pm-6pm.  For those wishing to make contributions in K's-name, may do so to the Ira Fire Department, 12591 NY-176, Cato, NY 13033. Keysor-Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, Cato, is in care of the arrangements.
