Clayton J. Green, Jr., 63, of Cato, passed away peacefully, August 21, 2023 at Francis House in Syracuse after a long illness. He was born in Bellville, Ontario Canada, February 15, 1960, son of the late Clayton and Jeannie Sly Green. Clayton served in the US Navy, on the USS Oklahoma City and worked in the engine room. Most of his life after the Navy was spent in construction. He was a fan of the Buffalo Bills, NASCAR (Mark Martin) and President Trump.

Clayton is predeceased by mother, Jeannie Green (2010), and father Clayton Green in 2012.

He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Roxanne Green, and his 2 children, Michael and Marikate "Kat" Spears. He has two beautiful granddaughters, Ember and Emma, he is also survived by his sister, Cindy (Mike) Ware, brother, Kirby (Cindy) Green, many informally adopted children, and grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.


A celebration of life will take place at a later date. Keysor-Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, Cato, is in care of the arrangements.
