Chester E. Helm, 78, of North Wolcott, and formerly of Williamsport, PA, passed away Thursday, December 07, 2017. Chester was born in Williamsport ,PA, the son of the late Howard Helm and Kathryn Helm. Chester was a devoted career military Veteran. He was a highly decorated career military man, serving in the Marines as well as the Navy and worked in the Armed Forces Police with the Criminal Intelligance Division. He received over a dozen medals including three Purple Hearts with Star, and, three Bronze Star Medals.
Chester is predeceased by nine brothers and sisters, as well as two daughters, Antionette Brion, and Cathy Brion.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Joan Marie Collister Helm, three sons; James (Leslie) Brion of Jersey Shore, PA, Michael Brion of Williamsport, and, Herb (Deb) Brion of North Wolcott, and grandchildren, Christopher Brion,Liberty Brion, Joshua Brion, Mathew Brion, and, Britney (Roland) Woodling.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, December 13 , from 11:00-1:00 with a service at 1:00, at the Becker-Keysor Funeral Home, Red Creek, burial will take place at North Wolcott Cemetery in the spring. www.catoredcreek.com
