Charles E. Waite, Sr., 79, Of Cato, passed away Sunday, April 03, at Auburn Community Hospital. He was born March 25, 1937 in Atlmar, the son of the late Howard Waite, and Ida Juno.
Charles was a carpenter for many years, and was employed by Agway in Warners NY for much of his career. He enjoyed wood working, gardening, farming, fishing, raising wild stock, and his biggest enjoyment of all taking care of his children and grandchildren.
Besides his parents Charles is predeceased by four brothers, Peter, Howard, Gary and David Waite, and one sister Lucy Labeef.
He is survived by his wife Hellen, three daughters, Leona Bench of Liverpool, Laurie Waite of Auburn, Lisa Kirk of Cato, three sons, Charles Waite, Jr. of Cato, Calvin (Marie) Waite of Cato and Brandon Waite of Cato, nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are in care of the Keysor-Dain-Cullinan Funeral Service, Cato. Services will be private.
