Charles F. Viele, 93, of Red Creek, passed away Saturday, August 01, 2026. He was born in Red Creek, son of the late Roscoe Viele and the late Mary Hadcock Viele. Charles was the second-generation owner of Vieles Agway in Red Creek, he loved spending time with his family, friends, and cared greatly about his community. He loved spending time outdoors, hunting, and his camp in Forestport.

Charles is predeceased by his wife, JoAnn Longley Viele, sister, Georgia Martin of Weedsport.

Survived by his children, Joleen (Norm) Watts of Chittenango, and John (Sherri) Viele of Fair Haven, sister, Barbara Knox of Red Creek, several grandchildren, several great grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will take place at Nathali's (former Viele's Agway) on Saturday, August 29th from 3:00-7:00.
