Charles Laws Sr., 61, of Victory, passed away Monday, June 20, 2022. He was born in Syracuse, son of
the late Charles Laws and Barbara Vaccaro Markantonakis. Charles despite being disabled had pushed
forward positively, he opened business's and took care of his family. He was a disabled ski instructor,
ran the family's farm, Our Lady Victory Farm, and was a talented chef.
He is survived by his wife, Lucille Gouldsbury Laws, son, Charles (Chelsea) Laws Jr., daughters, Cassandra
(Josh) Hoeffner, Anastasia (Brian) Blaisdell, and Jacqueline Cruz, sisters, Christina Stasko, Andrea Laws,
and Sheryl Hedrick, brothers, Angelo Markantonakis and Daniel Izzo, grandchildren, Avery Mae Laws,
Alexis Blaisdell, Caleb Henry, Makenzie McAllister, Brionna McAllister, Nadiya Cruz, Abigail Cruz, Bella
Cruz, and great grandchild, Theodore VanSanford.
Charles was honored by Jane Sariano and her generous kidney donation which gave him six more years
of life.
Calling hours will be held at the Keysor-Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, Cato, 11:00-2:00pm, Friday, June
24, followed with a procession to the family farm in Victory. A funeral mass will be held at the St.
Patrick's Church, Cato at 3:00pm followed by burial at the Cato Union Cemetery. For those wishing to
