Charles W. Runge, 70, of Martville, passed away Tuesday, September 09, 2025 at his home. He was born in Syracuse, son of the late Charles Burton and the late Joan Roesch Runge. He had previously been employed as a pest control technician for Ehrlich in Syracuse. He was a member of the Ira Fire Department, and loved hunting, sports, and golfing.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Murphy Runge, daughters, Shannel (Matthew) Cole of Cato, and Amanda (Hbib Amar-Ely) , sisters, Susan (Jimmy Runge) Hoyt, Judy Hoyt, , brother, James Runge, grandchildren, Carlee (Dylan) Brann, Darien (Hailey Delong) Horn, and Avani Cole, great grandchild, Blake Brann, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at a soon to be determined date . For those wishing to make contributions in Charle's name they may do so to the Ira Fire Department. Keysor-Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, Cato, is in care of the arrangements.
