Charles L. Ferguson, 89, of Sterling, passed away at the VA Medical Center in Syracuse, Wednesday, February 13, 2019. Born in Brooklyn, the son of the late Charles Ferguson and Jennie Ferguson. He was employed in various jobs locally, including bartending, truck driving and working at Sterling Sawmill. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was known by many and will be missed.

He is predeceased by his beloved wife Bonnie in 2011 as well as his siblings, Louise, Jenny, Calvin, Evelyn, Josephine and Great Grandson, De'Andre Spriggs.

He is survived by his children, Deborah (Dennis) Spriggs, Hameedah Abdul-Hasib (known as Dee Dee), Dale Ferguson, Sandra Ferguson, Charlotte Ferguson, Chuck (Selena) Ferguson, Amy (Josh Shene) Ferguson, and Kathy (John) Ralston as well as numerous Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Great Great Grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are in the care of the Becker-Keysor Funeral Home, Red Creek. A private burial will take place at the convenience of the family. www.catoredcreek.com.
