Obituary

Brenda Jean Nowacki, 70, of Little Falls, NY, formerly of Red Creek, passed away Thursday, January 03, 2022, at Little Falls Hospital. She was born in Gouverneur, daughter of the late Darrell Stevenson, and Estker MacTurk Stevenson.  Brenda was a little, passionate, one-of-a-kind soul, who loved her family, playing cards/Yahtzee/bingo, ceramics, nature walks, fishing, travelling with her sisters, camping at the lake, her cats (Steve and Blue Eyes), animals, putting others first, laughing with her friends, giving you the business, and cooking for her grandchildren. She was active with, and loved and adored by, her fellow tenants and friends at The London Towers Apartments where she spent the last 10 years making memories. She was a woman of simple tastes and cared far more about giving, than anything else. Brenda cared for people regardless of who they were, where they came from, what they did, or who they aspired to be. She just simply, loved.  She was employed as a nurse's assistant at St. Marys Hospital, had also worked at Shuron Textron, Comstock Foods, Heritage Christian Services, and Brookdale Senor Living.

She is predeceased by her sister, Karen Jenkins, sister, Mary Nier, niece, Debra Motyka and brother-in-law Warren Lennox.

Survived by her children, Justine Young of Rochester, and Terrance Uruburu of Red Creek, sisters, Sharon Lennox of Illion, Gladys (Thomas) Pollina of Mount Airy, Maryland, and Joanne (Eric) Strobel of St. Johnsville, grandchildren, Emma Uruburu, and Tyler Uruburu, nieces and nephews, Steven (Amy) Billings of Dolgeville, Thomas Pollina of Libertytown MD, Marken (Karen) Jenkins of Gouverneur, Edward (Tonya) Nier of Gouverneur, Theodore (Regina) Parsons of Gouverneur, Esther Corcoran of Gouverneur, Tammy Hernandez of Altus OK, Ashlee (Justin) Bohlen of Earleville MD, Erica (Fred) Doxtader of Dolgeville, great nieces and nephews, Ainsley Billings, Jonathon King, Mary-Margaret Nier, Edward Nier II, Troy (Nicole) Gardner, Trevor (Ashley) Gardner, Britney (Timothy) Gardner, Jordan (Jenny) Terpstra, Jonathan Terpstra, Bridgette Terpstra, Jacob Corcoran, Theodore (Kelly) Parsons III, Brooklyn Parsons, Gabriel Hernandez, Abron Hernandez, Aron Hernandez, Levi Bohlen, Grayson Bohlen, Hadleigh Bohlen, Aiden Doxtader, Novalee Doxtader, Chloe Doxtader, Ashlyn Strobel, and Brianna Brooks.
