North Rose
Bonita Lida Legott(Rose, Bastian) (Bonnie, Gram, Ma)
August. 21st. 1942 - September 6th, 2025
Bonita left this world September 6, 2025, at Clifton springs hospital. She spent her last few days surrounded by the loves of her life.
Bonita was the first-born daughter to Emerson Karl Bastian and Dorothy Jane Donnelly Bastian. Bonnie grew up on a farm and would laugh as she talked about walking through the cow pasture barefoot. Bonnie had an outstanding love of animals which most likely started as a young girl walking barefoot talking to the cows. Over the years Bonnie had countless cats and dogs not to mention nursing back to health an owl and a woodchuck.
More though than her love of animals was her love of family. Mostly, and she would admit it, was the amazing amount of love she had for her great granddaughter. The sun did rise in the East nor set in the West; it shone brilliantly through great grams eyes when looking at her precious Josie Rosie.
Most obituaries name former jobs. Bonie had many, they don't matter as her favorite " job" was being a Gram to her own and countless extras. Her love knew no bounds when she accepted you into her heart and accept, she did. There was never any doubt, Gram loved.
Ma also loved Jesus Christ and had a strong faith that she would see those that passed before her that she missed terribly. She would talk fondly of the life beyond the constraints of her failing body. Waiting for her, her parents Emerson and Dorothy Bastian. Her brother, Rodney Bastian. Her sisters, Sharon Bastian and Donnalee Fernaays. Her nephew Lance Fernaays. Incredibly special in laws, Thaddeus and Florence Rose Sr. Husband, Thaddeus Rose Jr. Husband, Allen Legott. Most of all, whom she missed every single day since her left, her beloved son Jamy Jay Rose.
Left here to continue her love are her daughter, Colleen (Keith) Bielemeier. Grandchildren; Shanabeth Bielemeier (Christian Cardiello) Joshua Bielemeier (Moira Kreason) Dolan Bielemeier (Aleksandra Shevchuk) Nathan Jay Doxtater and Lily Doxtater. Precious and perfect great granddaughter, Josephina Rose Cardiello. Brother Jarvis (Kathy) Bastian. Sisters Gail (Rodney) Bastian, Amy Jones and Cindy Rose. Nieces, nephews, cousins and not too mention, countless others that adopted her as Gram just as she adopted them.
