Barbara Bailey, 91, of Red Creek, passed away Friday, January 15, 2021, at Auburn Community Hospital. She was born April 13, 1929 in Port Byron , daughter of the late Robert Mettler and Sara Marr Mettler. She graduated from Port Byron High School in 1946. She then attended Syracuse University and Crouse School of Nursing , graduating in 1950. She loved caring for people and family. She worked at the VA Hospital in Syracuse for 41 years.

She is predeceased by three sons, Donald Dawson, Dean Dawson, and Dale Dawson, and two grandchildren.

Survived by husband, Donald Bailey, sons, David Dawson, and Douglas Dawson, daughter Danielle Dawson, as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
