Arthur Wright's Obituary

Arthur Wright, 79, passed away on Sunday, July, 14, 2019.

He will be sorely missed by his family and friends including

members of the Martville community who enjoyed visiting

with him and his wife, Nancy (Bonnell) Wright .

Art served honorably in the United States Naval Reserves

going to Newfoundland and Cuba where he helped build various structures.

Art earned his electrician certificate while working at Alcan Aluminum Corporation

which became Novellis, he'll be missed by hundreds of his coworkers.

Art enjoyed the outdoors gardening, hunting, fishing and going camping.

Art's flower gardens, bushes and trees were the envy of the neighborhood.

Art loved holidays especially decorating inside and out for Christmas.

Arthur Frederick Wright was born 07-09-1940 to Burchard Wright

and Edith Phoebe (Pettit) Wright in Sterling, New York.

Art was predeceased by his wife Nancy Wright, both of his parents,

his brother Richard Ray Wright, infant brother Delos Wright

and sisters June Ann (Wright) Hall, Betty Elizabeth Wright

and Dorothy Mary (Wright) Sutterby.

He is survived by his brother Thomas Charles Wright,

his sisters Jean Louise (Wright) Smith, Nan Nora (Wright) Powers

and Clara Alice (Wright) Crocker;

his children Curtis Wright, Katrina (Wright) Fillmore, and Keith Wright;

his grandchildren Brianna (Wright) Wilbur, Bethanie (Wright) Suchnicki,

Thomas Fillmore, and Mary Fillmore; and many nieces and nephews

Private family only graveside service will be at the Springbrook Cemetery in Sterling, New York

on Thursday, July 18, 2019.
