Arlene Van Norstrand, 58, of Port Byron passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2026. She was born in Auburn, daughter of the late Herman Timerson, and the late Ella Switzer Timerson. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and was a pastor for 10 years at various churches.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond Van Norstrand, daughter, Emily (Matthew) Ingerick of Red Creek, son, Steven (Julia) Van Norstrand of Conquest, sisters, Maxine (Robert) D'Alesandro of Fl., Irene (Larry) King of Conquest, Christine (Tim) Criss of Cato, and Darlene (Hugh) Casler of Red Creek, grandchildren, John, Henry, Alice, Logan, and Harper, as well as several nieces and nephews.
